San Diego's first Hydrobike Company!

Hydrobikes SD, LLC is San Diego's newest source of aquatic fun and fitness. Now renting from Aqua Adventures located in the Quivira Basin in Mission Bay. Hydrobikes SD was started by Rich Flammer, a busy San Diego-based composting consultant who saw hydrobikes online and wanted to try one. When he couldn’t find any here, he bought a dozen and started selling them to rental companies so others could ride them too. A perfect aquatic craft for exploring and working out on the expansive waterways of Mission Bay, hydrobikes are a blast. He likes riding his regular bikes on land (a standard Sun beach cruiser and Haro road bike) too, but he much prefers riding on the water!

Aqua Adventures is a veteran-owned business that features kayak and paddleboard rentals, retail sales, lessons, tours and an all-around good vibe on the best spot on Mission Bay. Lots of free parking and after ride massage and snacks available too! Full restaurant with San Diego’s best fish tacos and great craft beer selection coming soon!
